FortisBC New Home Program

We advise on eligibility and apply for New Home rebates on your behalf.

Homes built to Step 4 - $15,000

Homes built to Step 5 - $20,000

For homes with eligible mechanical systems located in FortisBC's natural gas or electric service territory (including, Grand Forks & Nelson Hydro).

Until December 2027*

Integrated Design Process - $1,000

Building Envelope Design - Up to $3,000

Mechanical Design - Up to $3,000

For homes in the early design process, pursuing the Step Code rebates.

A variety of different rebates offered by BC Hydro & FortisBC for energy improvements to existing homes.

Up to $14,000 for heat pumps, windows & doors, water heater and insulation upgrades.

Most rebates are based on receipts, installation by a qualified professional, and do not require an energy evaluation to qualify.
