Large Building Airtightness Testing

All Part 3 Buildings are now required to undergo airtightness testing in compliance with BC Step Code.

​Townhomes meeting Step 4 or higher must also undergo guarded testing.

We understand that shutting down your jobsite for a day to accommodate airtightness testing can be impractical and costly. We will accommodate testing outside typical site hours upon request.

We are familiar with a variety of testing standards to suit your project requirements, including: ASTM-E779, ISO-9972 and CAN/CGSB-149.10-2024

Detailed written reports, outlining testing parameters, results, and information required to verify building code compliance.

We provide preparation checklists as the test day approaches, and also offer site walkthroughs, so you can be confident the building is properly prepared on the day of the test.
